I just went and pre planned for my mother's service. Mark Bailey was very kind and did not rush me with decision making. He went through all the different options and helped me make a plan that will help honor the person my mother is. Mark Bailey is perfectly suited for his job. He is professional but wears a tie that makes you smile. He is detailed but makes sidebar comments that put you at ease. He has a sense of humor which I especially like because per-planning your own funeral is a bit unnatural. However, Mark made the meeting comfortable, and productive. I will recommend him and Faith Chapel to my friends and family. The fact that they are locally, privately owned was a huge factor in my decison to go with Faith Chapel. My family always uses Faith Chapel. The people have always been nice but the new website is awful. The video on the front page is unnecessary. The pictures don't move with the text, which is disorienting. The main obituaries index page doesn't have the birth date, only the death date. It could be much more user friendly.

Faith Chapel North was caring and compassionate in a difficult time. They are knowledgeable about things I had hoped to never have to know about, and as such they took a lot of burden off of me. I never felt pressured nor was I pressured to buy services or goods that weren't necessary. I've had to call upon Faith Chapel four times since 2016 and each time they carried out their duties with professionalism and respect. Passing from this world to the next is not an easy thing to think, or speak, about. Writing this review was difficult because it brings up emotions best left alone. But I feel it was necessary if it helps someone choose the best place to help their loved one make that journey.

As organized and efficient as you want for such a meeting…..I moved my pre-need plan from another state and changed my directives from burial with all the trimmings to cremation with very limited fanfare. We unexpectedly had to make arrangements for our twins after they passed away during my pregnancy. We had never dealt with anything like this and we were unsure how to go about it. We worked with Amber during this process and she made everything as easy as possible for us. We were unaware that Faith Chapel does not charge for the cremation of infants, but it was a welcome surprise and alleviated the financial burden of this difficult situation. The care and compassion we received from the staff was wonderful. As much as we hope to never lose loved ones, we will be using and recommending Faith Chapel for the rest of our lives.

My newborn daughter passed suddenly and unexpectedly due to a pregnancy complication that I had. My husband and I were at a loss and have never had to plan a funeral before. Miss Amber made the process a lot easier. She was very helpful and professional and had a very sympathetic and calming presence. The facility was very clean and the viewing room is beautiful. My late husband, William Mooney, died quite suddenly and definitely unexpectedly on 01/22/2019. He had his annual physical exam with labs less than two weeks earlier and all results were normal. His doctor was pleased as he even remarked after getting such nice reports that he felt great. I thought he looked good too! It was barely 2 weeks after feeling fine & all tests were A-OK from lab that he was at home waiting for dinner, sitting on sofa with the 5 o’clock news on when he left; departed, moved on, abandoned me after 36 years! His heart had just stopped…. his doctor was shocked. Yes, my world fell apart and I almost did too as never prepared or even thought about handling this sort of situation. It was after calling ‘911’ that I realized that I was alone and on my own. Faith Chapel was suggested to me and it was a blessing. I’m DEAF but Faith Chapel gently helped me through this horror, carefully explaining so that I understood how they were going to care for my beloved and reassured me in such a way that it gave me the bit of comfort I sorely needed then. The time is approaching for my “Billy’s” Anniversary and this reminds me that life is so very precious and also too short. We should all be kind as it’s always the right thing to do. The folks at Faith Chapel honor & uphold this philosophy. I personally was treated in this manner and am so very grateful. I learned firsthand it’s being kind to those who care for you to prepare and pre-plan your wishes for the inevitable. I have done so with Faith Chapel as they earned my respect and my faith in their service. I highly recommend them and encourage you to be prepared.

We were overwhelmed at the loving care we received. They are so compassionate and professional. They will bend over backwards to help you in every way. Even though we all go in there mourning our loved ones, they know the business and can help with budget limits. The funeral for our father was beautiful. He was retired USAF and they took care of all his wishes for a flag on his coffin and coordinated all military honors.

Mark made me feel very comfortable from the moment I was greeted, to when I was leaving. So it’s strange planning your own funeral, but it was such a comfort when it was done. Knowing my family was taken care of and my family won’t have a burden at that time. Mark answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel foolish. Help me with decisions by giving me different options on the plans financing’s and gave information on what’s needed and what’s optional and what to expect! I wish I could give Faith Chapel South more than 5 stars. They were incredibly kind and supportive when we had to plan our beloved grandmother's funeral. Dock especially was a godsend to us, particularly when we had the complete opposite experience dealing with the cemetery we, unfortunately, had to use; he was exactly as you would hope someone in his position would be like, warm, compassionate, and caring. We would absolutely recommend Dock and Faith a million times over, and we are eternally grateful for them being so amazing during one of the hardest times of our lives!!
